This week’s FOC (Final Order Cutoff: 4/27/26) is one of those sneaky strong weeks — not overwhelming at first glance, but there’s a lot of long-term value packed into a few very specific lanes.
At the top, this is a collector + crossover week.
The Blood Hunt Omnibus is the obvious anchor — big Marvel event, full scope, and the kind of book people decide they want after it’s out of print. Right next to it, the Legend of Mana: The Art of Mana — 30th Anniversary Edition hits a completely different audience but with the same outcome: niche upfront, quietly harder to find later.
There’s also a strong showing from the “current runs that are becoming must-haves” category. Ultimate X-Men by Peach Momoko Vol. 4 keeps building one of Marvel’s more visually distinct lines, and Amazing Spider-Man: Torn leans into that classic-era revisit that tends to pull in both new readers and longtime fans.
On the indie side, Marian Heretic Vol. 1 is the kind of book that doesn’t scream at you — but horror, religious tension, and BOOM!’s track record is usually a good bet. Worth paying attention to.
Then you’ve got the steady performers:
Deadpool Modern Era Epic Collection: X X Baby — always moves
Hulk: Smash Everything — exactly what it sounds like, complimentary
Dungeons of Doom — post-event curiosity with upside
And the crossover / expanded audience lane is doing real work again this week. The Legend of Korra: Kya and the Secret of the Sand is the kind of title that brings in readers who don’t care about FOC lists at all — they just know they want more Korra.
Short version:

Current Marvel trades = strong, reliable demand
Indie wildcard = Marian Heretic
Licensed / crossover titles = broader audience than you think
If last week was about format, this week is about audience overlap — books that hit more than one type of buyer at the same time.
Those are usually the ones that disappear first.
