This week’s FOC (Final Order Cutoff: 4/13/26) is a format-heavy one — deluxe editions, gallery books, omnibuses, and a few nostalgia-driven releases that feel very intentional.
On the premium end, Absolute Infinite Crisis (New Edition) is the obvious centerpiece — oversized, slipcased, and built for anyone who wants that event in its most complete, display-worthy form. DC adds more shelf presence with Batman: Gargoyle of Gotham – Deluxe Edition and the returning crossover in Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Deluxe Edition (New Edition), both leaning into that “looks as good as it reads” category.
There’s also a strong nostalgia and restoration angle this week. The VR Troopers / Power Rangers Flipbook Facsimile Edition is exactly what it sounds like — retro, weird, and very collectible — while ElfQuest: Hidden Years Gallery Edition goes the opposite direction with a high-end art presentation built for longtime fans.
On the omnibus side, Superman: Action Comics by Dan Jurgens Vol. 2 and Dreadstar Omnibus Vol. 2 continue expanding long-running collections, while Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.: 1955–1957 keeps building out that universe in clean, chronological chunks.
Outside of that, there’s a solid mix of newer and accessible material. Dune: Edge of a Crysknife expands the Dune universe in hardcover, Poison Ivy Vol. 7 continues one of DC’s more visually distinct current runs, and Robin: Year One (New Edition) gives a classic origin story another pass. You’ve also got creator-driven work like Devil on My Shoulder and Get Jiro! Release windows stretch from early summer into fall, so this is one of those weeks where format matters. Absolutes, gallery editions, and deluxe hardcovers tend to be the first to tighten up once they hit.
Short version: if you’re eyeing a premium edition or something a little off the beaten path, this is a good week to lock it in.
