This week’s FOC is a pretty well-balanced mix — big omnibuses, modern trades, and a handful of media tie-ins that will absolutely find their audience.
On the headline side, you’ve got larger collected editions doing most of the heavy lifting. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ongoing compendium continues building out one of the more consistent long-running series in comics, while the Poe Dameron Omnibus finally collects the full run in one place — which, if you’ve been piecing that together in trades, is a welcome upgrade.
There’s also a strong showing from the “watch it, then read it” category. The Legend of Vox Machina: The Whitestone Chronicles Vol. 3 keeps expanding that universe for fans coming from the show, and The Art of Star Trek: Lower Decks leans fully into the art-book lane — behind-the-scenes material, design work, and the kind of thing that lives just as comfortably on a coffee table as it does on a shelf.
Dark Horse continues to stack interesting creator-driven projects and licensed books with solid hooks, while Marvel’s side of the list leans into modern-era trades and character-focused collections — the kind of books that quietly become the backbone of a collection over time.
Release windows stretch from May through September, so this is the part where decisions actually matter. Omnibuses and hardcover art books tend to move quickly, and first printings are still the safest way to get exactly what you want.
Short version: if something here catches your eye — especially in oversized or hardcover format — FOC is your cleanest shot at locking it in.
