This week's Final Order Cutoff (FOC) for July 6, 2026 is one of the strongest preorder weeks we've seen this summer. Premium hardcovers, anniversary editions, oversized omnibuses, and fan-favorite reprints dominate the list, making this an easy week for collectors to spend more than they planned. (It happens.)
The biggest headline is Kingdom Come: 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition, giving Mark Waid and Alex Ross' legendary DC masterpiece an upgraded presentation with new bonus material. It's joined by Absolute Y: The Last Man Vol. 1, bringing Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra's acclaimed Vertigo series back in Absolute format—a release that's likely to become one of the week's most sought-after books.
Batman fans have no shortage of options either. Batman: Detective Comics by Ram V Omnibus collects the complete Gotham Nocturne saga, while Batman by Grant Morrison Book Three, Batman: Killing Time, and Batman: The Brave and the Bold: The Bronze Age Omnibus Vol. 1 offer something for nearly every era of the Dark Knight.
Marvel counters with one of the year's biggest omnibus reprints in King in Black Omnibus, alongside Wolverine: Old Man Logan Omnibus Vol. 1, Marvel's Most Villainous: Magneto, and Wiccan: Witches' Road. These oversized collections tend to disappear quickly after release, making FOC the safest time to secure a copy.
Outside the superhero shelves, BOOM! continues its excellent collected editions with Lumberjanes Books Seven and Eight, while younger readers can look forward to Plants vs. Zombies, Monster High, and Aquamanateam. Tabletop gamers also get a standout release with the Octopath Traveler TRPG Rulebook, making this one of the more diverse FOC weeks of the year.
